Commission

In Baden-Württemberg and Hesse, the "commissioning principle" (Bestellerprinzip) applies to residential rentals. This means that the party who commissions the real estate agent bears the costs. The brokerage commission in these federal states may amount to a maximum of two net monthly rents plus 19% VAT for the services rendered by the agent.
